An operator who turns category-defining technology into a market standard
Venkat Ramakrishnan joined NeuBird AI as President and Chief Operating Officer in February 2026. In this role he is responsible for scaling the company’s commercial engine—leading go-to-market operations, driving customer adoption, and guiding global growth for NeuBird’s agentic AI SRE platform.
Before NeuBird, Venkat was General Manager of the Cloud Native Business Unit at Pure Storage, where he helped establish Portworx as a standard for Kubernetes data management. He was part of the early Portworx team and stayed with the business through its acquisition by Pure Storage, building it into a key pillar of Pure’s cloud-native strategy.
Earlier in his career, Venkat held roles at Cisco, IBM, Fusion-io, AMD, and Western Digital—giving him a perspective that spans silicon, storage, networking, and cloud-native infrastructure. At NeuBird, he reunites with the founding team behind Portworx to bring autonomous, AI-driven production operations to enterprises worldwide.
