Francois Martel

Francois Martel is Head of Field Engineering at NeuBird, where he leads Sales Engineering and Forward Deployed Engineering across the full customer lifecycle—from the first technical conversation through POC, production deployment, and value realization. He also serves as NeuBird’s Field CTO, working with enterprise SRE teams to transform their operations through GenAI.

His mission is to help SRE teams break free from dashboard limitations and reactive firefighting. Through Hawkeye, NeuBird’s GenAI-powered SRE, he and his team are creating an environment where routine issues are automatically resolved, complex problems come pre-analyzed, and engineers can focus on the strategic work that drives innovation.

Before NeuBird, Francois led Analytics and AI/ML go-to-market for Global Financial Services at Amazon Web Services, helping financial institutions deliver data-driven value at scale.

He is passionate about helping organizations navigate the intersection of human expertise and artificial intelligence in IT operations—and about the future of SRE, GenAI’s impact on IT operations, and building more resilient engineering teams.
